IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS TO THE SUCCESS OF THE GO N GROW CAMPAIGN

There are a number of considerations important to the Go N Grow Campaign. Many of issues were presented during the state convention in July 2008. I have further broken down the issues into their Strategic Planning components. This should help us identify our Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats, Risk. I have outline the issues into four major catagories

  1. LEADERSHIP
  2. CDC PYPU & ATTITUDE
    CULTURE
  3. CDC PYPU PROCESS &
    PROCEEDURES
  4. ORGANZATIONAL
    STRUCTURE

LEADERSHIP

Purspose: Inception, clarification, organization and completion of the vision

  1. Prepare the ground
  2. Obtain Pastoral approval and leadership guidance
  3. Identify the need for growth
  4. Time of research: (demographics – homeowners, single families, ethnicity)
  5. Analyse the data and develop suggesting ways to meeting the needs of the community
  6. Maintaining growth and formulating communities

CDC PYPU & ATTITUDE CULTURE

Imperative that we grow the PYPU Department

  1. Expectation of growth and preparation for the harvest
  2. False Evidence Appearing as Reality
  3. Leaders catch the vision Team members catches on to the vision Church catches up to the vision
  4. Prepare to keep the harvest –BE RETENTION MINDED
  5. Love one another. Young people must feel apart if you hope to see them again
  6. Make new members apart of your church family. CHURCH USER EXPERIENCE. What should the experience be like for a young person coming to your local assembly? Make it so.
  7. Adapt to change. Our plans are subject to our pastors, circumstance, and the leading of Holy Spirit. When your church starts feeling different because of the growth please see it as a good thing.
  8. Get ready for mighty exploits EXPECT GOD TO BLESS YOUR EFFORT.
